Longtime social work professional and former Chicago JCC General Director Jerry Witkovsky has been a beloved mentor to thousands of individuals and generations of families. In 1995, Jerry was named one of the city’s “Most Effective Nonprofit CEOs” by Crain’s Chicago Business Magazine. Since retiring in 1997, he has taken that learning from the board room and applied it to the living room, with tactical ideas on effective family meetings, teaching values, and inspiring a culture of kindness and giving.
Jerry has set up grandparents programs at Chicago area schools and has spoken to grandparents across the country on how to enter their grandchildren’s world, and how they can leverage their unconditional love to unleash creativity and enrich family life across the generations.
