In her role as Director of Special Projects and LIFE & LEGACY Program Director, Rachel is working to integrate legacy giving into the philanthropic culture of the Greater Phoenix Jewish community. Her other main focus is the annual Tax & Legal Seminar that the Foundation has presented since 1993, and has presented jointly with the Arizona Community Foundation since 2001.
Before joining the Jewish Community Foundation, Rachel worked for the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation, first as Senior Development Officer and more recently as Campaign Manager.
A graduate of Brandeis University with a B.A. in Sociology, Rachel earned her MSW from the University of Pennsylvania and a certificate in Jewish Communal Studies from Gratz College. A recipient of the Federation Executive Recruitment Education Program’s (FEREP) Scholarship from the Council of Jewish Philanthropies Rachel’s career Arizona began in 1998 at the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix. Subsequently, Rachel went on to serve in senior development positions for AIPAC and the Anti-Defamation League.
Originally from Cherry Hill, NJ, Rachel enjoys spending time and traveling the world with her husband and young son.
