JCF Receives $500,000 from Blank Family Foundation

The Jewish Community Foundation proudly announces a new $500,000 permanent endowment established by the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation of Atlanta, Georgia. The endowment will be held and administered by the Jewish Community Foundation, and will provide half the annual cost of the Jewish Career Services program operated by Jewish Family & Children’s Service. This extraordinary gift was made to honor Arthur Blank’s brother, Michael, who is a member of the Jewish Community Foundation’s Board of Directors, and Michael’s wife, Carmen.
While work was quietly underway for several weeks among the two foundations and JFCS, Michael and Carmen were unaware of the new fund in their honor until this surprise video announcement was made at JFCS’ Brighter Tomorrow luncheon on February 27, 2015.
