COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund
As part of the 2021 grant cycle, the Jewish Community Foundation will accept letters of intent for its second round of COVID-19 emergency response grants.
Every organization has been affected by COVID-19 – whether through an increased demand for services, a loss in revenue due to cancellation of programs, or a reduction in fundraising due to economic uncertainty.
The Jewish Community Foundation has established the COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund to help support Jewish organizations facing extraordinary needs due to the pandemic.
Funding Priorities
Priority # 1 – Direct Response to the Pandemic
Our primary focus is Jewish 501(c)(3) organizations that help the most vulnerable in our community satisfy their most basic needs, including access to food and medical services, and payment for utilities and housing.
Priority #2 – Stabilize the Jewish Nonprofit Ecosystem
We are also focused on the stability of local Jewish 501(c)(3) organizations that are challenged by the pandemic’s economic effects. Fundraising, programs, events, and ordinary revenue streams have been disrupted. Related economic factors may exacerbate challenges to an organization’s fiscal health.
