Our family has been blessed with financial comfort due to the hard work of Susan’s grandfather who came to this country as a young boy from Poland.
Jews were not welcomed into large corporations and most had to find their way through the help of family members and Jewish organizations.
Although they achieved substantial wealth in the real estate business, Susan’s grandparents lived frugally. They taught us by example to spend just what was needed, save for the future, educate our children and take care of those less fortunate.
We have personally worked with the organizations that we include in our endowment. They bring comfort, they educate, they preserved our Jewish history, they work for human rights and they spread the idea that we must take care of each other to make the world whole, to achieve tikkun o’lam.
