We are both from the Southwest – Lois is a 4th generation Arizonan, has lived here for most of her life; Steve grew up in El Paso and has been in Arizona for 30 years. Our daughters, Corinne, Wendy and Suzanne, were born in Phoenix.
We believe it is important to have a strong Jewish community. Establishing an endowment to support Jewish life and values is a tangible demonstration of our commitment; it also sends an important message to our children of the need to participate and support one’s beliefs.
Our decision to primarily support the Jewish National Fund results from our deep love of the land of Israel and, as history has taught us, the importance of a Jewish homeland.
