Every Sunday my parents gave me money to put in the kind deeds fund at Sunday School. This is where I first learned the meaning of tzedakah.
Through the years I have been involved with various charitable organizations in both the Jewish community as well as secular; I’ve given my time, as well as my money to help those people whom were less fortunate than myself.
It is important to me that I do my part to prepare and insure that future generations will carry on and perpetuate our Jewish traditions and put a stop to assimilation. I feel that this can only be accomplished by building a strong, vibrant Jewish community.
