As Jews living in the 21st century, we are honored to share in the history and traditions of our People, which have endured for some 5,000 years. We feel blessed to be part of a caring and giving community; one that is commanded to do acts of loving-kindness and to help those who are less fortunate. While we understand that it is not for us to solve all of the problems confronting the world, we know that we must participate in the effort. If we can make even the slightest difference for good then we will know that we have helped to ensure that our world becomes a better place. May all of our blessings be bestowed upon our children, and upon our children’s children, and may they, too, carry on the valuable work and traditions of our noble heritage.
