My parents taught me by example the importance of community, Tzedakah and Tikkun Olam. They helped build and mold our synagogue, became active in movements for social change and always worked for the betterment of our community through many different organizations. They kindled my torch, and I have strived to become the example they set for me. I make this promise now to ensure that our family’s commitment to social change and a thriving Jewish community continues.
