The Ken Maltenfort Memorial Endowment Fund
When the Jewish Community Foundation office called to tell us of the outpouring of donations that were being made in Ken’s memory, we were moved beyond words. When asked to use these funds to set up a perpetual fund in his name, we were thrilled.
Upon reflection, we knew that we should do something for children who do not have the opportunities that our children had. While education was of utmost importance to our family, Ken’s fondest memories and lasting friendships were from his days at overnight summer camp. Each of our children had the opportunity to attend such a camp and their experiences were just as rewarding. We want to let at least one child per year have those happy memories.
