Our grandparents and parents were our role models in tzedakah and community involvement, as we hope that we are role models for our children and the generations to follow. Jewish community involvement and philanthropy became a part of our lives early in our marriage, initially through participation in Federation and Young Leadership, and subsequently through my work as a Jewish communal professional. The privilege of working with so many true philanthropists and the first-hand knowledge of the vital role of our Jewish agencies have strengthened our resolve to invest in the future of the Jewish community through our gift to the Jewish Community Foundation.
