Judaism has helped teach me that helping others is a religious and moral obligation, as well as the way to happiness. My gift to the Jewish Community foundation is directed toward building and strengthening links of social support between Jews and others and encouraging the long tradition of the Jewish hand helping beyond the Jewish community. However, my gift has been made only with the comfort of knowing that other donors are focused on different facets of maintaining and enriching Jewish life, culture and religion. I hope that younger and future generations continue, in even greater numbers and influence, to enhance our already strong tradition of Jewish philanthropic leadership within both the Jewish community and the world at large.
