Our parents were born more than a hundred years ago. They were children in Europe and America. The Europe they knew is gone. The America they grew up in had puschkes – charity boxes – into which they and their parents, and most Jews, put what they could.
Their gifts helped immigrants to America, Jews in the Europe they left, Jews settling and struggling in the land that became Israel, and Jews around the world.
Through our endowment fund we believe we are continuing to help immigrants to America, Jews in Europe, in Israel, and around the world.
