Supporting the Jewish community is important to us because we are the inheritors of a great tradition, one from pre-war Germany and one of Zionism.
The Lichtstern family escaped from Germany in 1938, arriving in Cleveland, Ohio. The lessons taught to their two sons was of Jewish commitment and community involvement.
Being the granddaughter of an ardent Zionist was a blessing to a young girl growing up in Cleveland. The striving for a homeland for Jews was a daily discussion. The message was clear, when there is a strong Jewish State, there will be a strong American Jewish community.
The philosophies of these two families have nurtured our commitment to a strong Israel and Jewish community.
