My roots reach back to my Zaida Isaac and Bubba Chya and dear Mother Fraedel, who in their own subtle ways instilled a sense of Judaic values and caring and sharing.
Growing up as a teenager in the Great Depression had a tremendous impact on my life – we didn’t know how poor we were and existed in part through the generosity of others.
So it is with a great sense of pride and satisfaction that I have been in a position to share my good fortunes.
