It is our adherence to the Jewish concept of tikkun olam, Hebrew for ‘repairing the world,’ that we leave to our sons, Andrew, Justin and Joshua, the gift of giving of oneself to the community. Just as we have given unconditionally to the community, as our parents, grandparents and ancestors have, we learn by what we see and by what we are taught. God, thank you for giving us the strength to take the first step toward a new beginning. You light our world with glory, hope, honor and goodwill. We pray, let not your light be dimmed, but through us, be shining brightly for many generations to come!
