I am thankful that the Valley’s Jewish community has been very open and welcoming to me since I moved here. Although Phoenix is now my adopted home, I would like to think that I have put down roots here after 15 years in the community. I have also planted a couple of “seeds” in the minds of my two children, Jack and Grace, who were born here and will grow up here, and who I hope will become energetic participants in building the Valley’s Jewish community. I hope their contributions to the community in time, spirit and eventually tzedakah will far outpace the modest amounts that I have been fortunate enough to give back.
