We both grew up in ‘traditional’ Jewish homes in a city with a large, active Jewish community. As second and third generation Jews, we were weaned on the importance of our Judaic heritage and we easily integrated into a comfortable Jewish lifestyle. When we moved to Arizona, we realized that we could not take our Judaism for granted. We understood the importance of Jewish education to foster a better understanding of our religion, its history and tradition. By making a bequest to the Jewish Community Foundation, we hope to provide the resources to continually improve the quality and ensure the continuity of Jewish life for our children and future grandchildren.
