For the Jews, the Torah is our guide to know how to live peacefully and civilly within our selves, in our homes and in the world.
Learning about Judaism is not a priority to the great majority of Jews. They will not sacrifice to educate themselves or their children.
Jewish education, must therefore, be affordable so that no one will have an excuse not to participate.
This is why leaving an endowment which will help make Jewish education affordable to all is very important. Building an endowment is equally important.
No Jew should ever have the excuse that Jewish education is too expensive. Our survival as a people and the world’s survival depends on it.
