2018 Discretionary Grants Announced
For its 2018 discretionary grant cycle, the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix announced grants totaling $224,312 to benefit the Jewish community locally and in Israel, through the unrestricted Fund for Jewish Philanthropy, the Jewish Women’s Endowment Fund, and field of interest funds.
Locally and in Northern Arizona, the programs funded this year will reach across the entire community, including Jewish children, teens, young adults and seniors, as well as the general public via the Violins of Hope program. In Israel, the Foundation is funding projects that bridge gaps between Jewish and Arab Israelis and serve youth at-risk, the disabled, and those who have chosen to leave the Haredi community, among others.
